4 CPTS ELECTRICAL INSTALL

STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision, other items, and services necessary to install 120V, 20A receptacle circuitry and power track system. Four (4) of the receptacle locations currently have service cords. The work is in rooms 145, 152, 165, 166, and the area directly outside of room 152 in 1515 Andrews St, Bldg 3010 SJAFB. The attached drawings (BLDG 3010 Drawings for CPTS Electrical), and photos (Receptacle Location Photos) lays out the conceptual locations for each of the service outlets with red numbers, the service cords with black numbers, and the Location of the power track system. The government intends to rely on contractor expertise for the most effective means of capturing their intent. The intent is for each of the numbers in the drawing to be the estimated location for service outlets, and for a mounted track system to be in place in room 166 with a track cable management for power and CAT 6 lines for eight (8) workstations. All work to be accomplished in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Any wall penetrations through a fire rated wall will be sealed using industry standards. Minimum size conductors will be #12 AWG copper. Minimum size conduit will be 3/4”. No more than 4 workstations on a circuit. Paper shredder will be on a dedicated circuit.

2. PERSONNEL: The Contractor shall provide supervision that is experienced, fully qualified, and well versed in construction terminology. The supervisor shall maintain direct control and close surveillance of all contract personnel who are performing the work.

3. WORKING HOURS AND SCHEDULING:

3.1 Work will be performed during normal duty business hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm M-F.

3.2 Work will be done in such as manner as to not interfere with regular operations. If the contractor believes work will infringe on operations, he/she will contact the Contracting Officer to de-conflict.

3.3 The contractor will be required to meet with the Contracting Officer and Civil Engineering Facility Systems Superintendent and any contract representative within 48 hours after contract award to establish a work schedule. Work will be completed and inspected within a timely manner to reduce any interruption in regular comptroller operations.

4. SECURITY

4.1 All workers must be legally allowed to work in the United States.

4.2 No guns, drugs, or illegal paraphernalia will be allowed on the military installation.

4.3 All vehicles, equipment, and containers will be subject to search at any time while on or seeking access to the military installation.

5. PROTECTION OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY

5.1 The contractor will protect all government and personnel property from damage. Any damage caused by the contractor will be replaced or repaired at contractors cost prior to final acceptance.

6. SAFETY

6.1 All OSHA standards will be complied with.

6.2 Proper PPE will always be worn.

6.3 Best practices of safety in the workplace will always be adhered to.

6.4 Any electrical, gas, or chemical work will be done by licensed personnel only.

6.5 All tools and materials will be cleaned up and stored safely at the end of the workday or on extended breaks (i.e. lunch).

7. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE

7.1 There will be periodic inspections done by the Civil Engineering Facility Systems Superintendent, Mr. David Paul.

7.2 When work is complete the Facility Systems Superintendent will inspect the work for completion and quality prior to the job being accepted.

7.3 A minimum of a 12 month warranty on all work will be required in writing upon job completion.

7.4 All work is expected to be completed within a week of the receipt of the track system.

8. FINAL CLEAN UP

8.1 Upon completion the contractor will clean up all tools, trash, dirt, and debris, and be responsible for any damage to property.
