RFQ – Plasma Cutting Table, Solicitation: FA480919QA027

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation IAW FAR Part 12 and 13. Submit written quotes in reference to Request for Quote (RFQ) reference number FA480919QA027.

This requirement is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 52.219-6.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 333517 with a size standard of 500 employees.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through

Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01 Effective 20 Dec 2018. Defense Federal Acquisition

Regulation DPN 20190215, Effective 15-Feb-2018. Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation

AFAC 2018-0525, Effective 25-May-2018.

BID SCHEDULE:

Potential Offerors shall include the total price to provide for all of the items listed below, on the following bid schedule.

CLIN 0001: Plasma Cutting Table 1 each TOTAL: $_________________

Technical Requirements:

Requested item is a Torchmate 4800 FC80 Plasma Cutting Table (4x8)- LECS-080-4800-00 with Nesting and Vectorising upgrade- TMS-106-0011-11, or equal.

An “OR EQUAL” item shall meet or exceed the following qualities:

1. Machine shall not exceed 144in long and 74in wide with a minimum cutting area of 48in x 96in.

2. Plasma cutter must be able to cut ¾ in steel

3. Must have nesting and vectorising capability

4. Power requirements cannot exceed: 1 phase: 208,230 50/60hz or 3 phase

08,230,400,460,575 50/60hz.

5. Stand alone device must include CAD Software, DXF Importer (use with any CAD), and integrated touch screen.

ADDENDUM TO FAR 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS

All quotes must include the following information:

1. Quote shall include the contractor’s individual CLIN price on page 1 of this Solicitation.

2. Company Point of Contact with name, address, email address, and telephone number.

3. Photo depiction of the plasma cutting table.

BASIS FOR CONTRACT AWARD: (Addendum to FAR 52.212-2)

a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:

Award will be made to the offer that is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).

(b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
