About this file

This document is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) outlining the government's requirement for the purchasing, installing, removing, integrating, testing, refreshing, archiving, and upgrading of an intrusion detection system (IDS), access control systems (ACS), and associated equipment and services at multiple facilities at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina and Moab, Alabama.

The key details are: the government requires COTS equipment from the latest approved list, the IDS must integrate with the existing Vindicator system at the Base Defense Operations Center, the contractor must provide project management, staging, testing, training, and support for the equipment and systems, and the work must comply with various security and technical specifications. The SOW provides detailed requirements for upgrading and integrating the systems at 14 different facilities. This SOW is tied to a pre-solicitation for the "AFCENT VINDICATOR UPGRADE FY24" project, which requires a site visit on April 17-19 and a base access request by April 8, 2024.
