Questions and Answers

1. When were the grease traps last serviced?

The grease traps are all serviced monthly. The last service was January 2020.

2. Are all the grease traps located outside or are some of them inside?

Most grease traps are located/accessible outdoors. Two (2) are located inside the buildings. One is at the Base Exchange at (Building 977 - Dunkin Donuts), and the other at MPF (building 1118 – Rickenbacker’s café).

3. If inside, how many feet of hose will we need to reach the grease trap for the closest door?

Historically the indoor traps have been serviced with wet/dry vacuums.

Approximately 10 gallons or less at each location. Pulling a hose through the building isn’t a feasible option. There’s an increased amount of customer traffic in these locations. However, it’s approximately 150’ at the MPF, and 400’ for the base exchange.
