1. What aircraft will this power cart be used on?

This power cart will be used on Aircraft Racks and Power Distribution Units used inside the Aircraft, not directly on any aircraft.

1. Is the USG willing to pay for a manufacturer extended warranty that is included in the unit price of the power cart?

Yes, if extending the warranty meets the contract requirements.

1. Concerning Maintenance Free Tires; can the USG clarify if it is requiring tires that do not contain air? If so, can further information be provided like tire size and brand.

We don’t want flat tires. Size and brand aren’t important as long as you can meet that requirement. We also have a problem with dry rot on tires. That’s unacceptable.

1. Concerning the provided features; the features listed in the email below were very detailed. Is this power cart currently exist in industry or is this a unit that the USG has design documents for and wants built? If existing, can an equivalent make/model be provided?

I think this is proprietary, so I’m not going to answer. We used several carts including our current one developing this quote.

1. Concerning the required deliver,. y date of 90 days; the industry is experiencing longer lead times on a variety of subassemblies due to impacts from trade tariffs and the pandemic. Will the USG consider a lead time of 120 days? If not, what is the maximum number of days it will accept.

An extra 30 days shouldn’t really be an issue.

6. Need to clarification on if the UFC90M / 620M power cart needed to be on a physical trailer vs. caster mount?

The cart needs to be able to be pushed or towed from BLDG 1261 to 1265 and back. Casters would not work for this. We need some kind of tire that can be roll over a packed dirt/gravel lot.

7. Does the converter need to have capability of being towed by a tow tractor of other towing vehicle? Or does it need the capability to be moved/pushed around the building where it will be located?

Although I don’t really understand the question or the difference in towing with a tractor or a vehicle, we need something that can be towed by a truck or even better pulled by two individuals from one building to the next through gravel.
