About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA480026Q0058.
The Government seeks hazardous waste disposal services for fuel oily wastewater classified as a mixture of water and Jet A fuel. Three key clarifications were addressed: (1) The waste is confirmed as hazardous, with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and fuels laboratory analysis provided to contractors; (2) Service calls required when waste tanks reach full capacity are not included within the four quarterly removal events specified in the pricing schedule and must be priced separately, with the Statement of Work revised accordingly; and (3) This is a recompete of previous contract FA480025P0041 held by C&M Industries, Inc. The responses indicate that contractors should anticipate both scheduled quarterly removals and additional ad hoc service calls based on tank capacity, requiring flexible pricing structures to accommodate variable service frequency beyond the baseline four annual removal events.

Questions and Answers
FA480026Q0058
1. First, please confirm whether the fuel oily wastewater is classified as hazardous or non-hazardous waste. If available, please also confirm whether the Government has an existing waste profile, SDS, lab analysis, fuel type information, or historical disposal documentation that can be provided for contractor review. It is a mixture of water and Jet A and is classified as hazardous. The SDS and fuels laboratory analysis are attached as requested.
2. Second, the pricing schedule identifies four quarterly removal events per year;
however, the Statement of Work also states that services will be conducted quarterly or whenever the waste tanks are full. Please confirm whether service calls required when the tanks are full are included within the four annual removals, or whether any additional service calls beyond the four quarterly removals should be priced separately. Service calls for when the tanks are full are not included in the four annual removals. The Statement of Work has been revised.
3. Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past. Previous Contract: FA480025P0041 - C&M INDUSTRIES, INC
