QUESTION AND ANSWER POOL

CAO: 12 SEPTEMBER, NOON

1. QUESTION: The current machine at location. You all want us to remove it. Is it on a lease or do you own it?

ANSWER: Current machine is owned by another company and will be removed by said company before install of new. Therefore, removal of current machine is no longer a requirement for this contract opportunity and has been removed from the SOR.

2. Question: Under #14 in SOR – Open system hardware & software – You list USB media server. The Fiery print controller will accept USB dongle to print from and scan to. For the machine, this is an option. Once added, you can print directly from a USB device and scan directly to a USB device. This is not very secure and do not advise if machine is in sensitive location. If you want the machine USB interface to be active, I will need to add a USB Enablement Kit.

ANSWER: The government does not require the USB Enablement Kit. This has been removed from the SOR.
