About this file
This document is a Statement of Requirement (SOR) for the procurement of Keyed Fiber Cabling to support the Data Center operations of the 497th ISR Group. The SOR specifies the requirement for PANDUIT Keyed Fiber Cabling, including the part numbers and quantities needed. The purpose is to fulfill a standardized and mandated requirement for the use of Keyed Fiber Cabling within Sensitive Compartmentalized Infrastructure Facilities (SCIF) to enhance reliability, sustainability, and support ongoing projects in the Data Center. The keyed fiber cabling offers low insertion loss, minimal signal attenuation, and high bandwidth throughput to accommodate evolving requirements. This procurement is tied to a related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number FA4800-24-Q-A025, which is a brand-specific requirement for Panduit keyed server bus fibers to be awarded to the vendor offering the lowest price technically acceptable.

STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT
Keyed Fiber for Data Center || Quantity: PANDUIT ELECTRICAL GB *(Qt 55)* Part#:FS2EPKDKDNDM002
PANDUIT ELECTRICAL GB *(Qt 50)* Part#:FS2EPKDLDNDM005
SENSOR BUS Fiber *(Qt 55)* Part#:FS2EPKCLCNCM010.1. PURPOSE:
Request the purchase of Keyed Fiber Cabling which is standardized and mandated for use within Sensitive Compartmentalized Infrastructure Facilities within the Distributed Ground System enterprise. These Keyed Fiber Cabling is primarily to support the reliability, sustainability, and ongoing projects within the Data Center of the 497th ISR Group. Fulfilling this mandated requirement for our upcoming installation of our storage solution as well as other ongoing projects is imperative for Distributed Ground System-1 site (497th ISR Group).
2. DESCRIPTION:
Keyed Fiber; First and foremost, Keyed Fiber has specific physical characteristics tailored to Sensitive Compartmentalized Infrastructure Facility (SCIF) requirements. Variations in the Fiber’s diameter, refractive index profile, and embedded markers provide more efficient deployment within Data Center environments. In addition, keyed fiber cabling also offers low insertion loss, minimal signal attenuation, and delivers high bandwidth throughput minimizing latency and packet loss. Keyed Fiber is standardized and mandated for use within SCIF/Data Center operations within the 497th ISR Group.
3. OBJECTIVE:
Procuring Keyed Fiber will allow the 497th ISR Group to initiate a comprehensive project dedicated to enhancing the organization's storage solution capabilities for file share management fueling Data Center support services to multiple Squadrons performing 24/7 operations. This strategic purchase will be an investment to not only mitigate the impending end-of-support for our current legacy equipment but also position us to bolster our networking infrastructure to accommodate evolving requirements. Most notably, our Data Center will greatly benefit from upgrading fiber cabling to support ongoing projects at the 497th ISR Group.
