Q & A
Q1. Can you answer if the chapel is currently satisfied with the current contractor? Also are you aware of any major contract deficiencies or lack of performance in areas of this contract?
A1. No, the Government cannot disclose past performance information about the current contractor.
Q2. From our experience with this, there are usually certain days that coincide with the Statement of Work that requires the contractor to be in place at specific times. Are there any weekly gatherings, events, classes currently scheduled that the contractor would need to be in place? If so can you provide those exact times?
A2. Yes. Contractor is expected to attend all Staff Meetings, Parish Council Meetings, and Religious Education planning meetings this includes Chapel Special Events. All meeting dates and times are directed by the Wing Chaplain. There is no set schedule for these, please reference SOW for estimated workload hours.
Q3. Is there flexibility in rendering hours or is there a set schedule the Chaplain expects the contractor to follow?
A3. Please perform responsibilities at least 3 days per week, Sunday through Thursday, unless duties are needed and requests are made in advance. In addition, consult with the Catholic Chaplain for required support on the regular basis. The Wing Chaplain will set all final work hours to meet BW mission requirements and needs.
Q4. For administrative tasks that can be completed on a computer, is it possible for the contractor to work from an off-site location or is all work expected to be done on-site.
A4. All work in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) must be performed on-site. The Contractor does not get paid for work performed off-site, unless mission restraints warrant such action and is authorized by the Wing Chaplain.
Q5. In reference to 1.3.4 is there a previous “Calendar of Events” you can provide?
A5. All events and Religious Education requirements will be planned with Catholic Chaplain, and then presented to Wing Chaplain for final approval. Once approved, all requirements will be published to the
Annual Ministry Plan.
