Q: First, what voltage do you have available and what voltage machines are you looking for?
Voltage is not an issue because we willbe directly hard wiring the welding machines to our power supply. Multi voltage machines at 240V or 480V will work the same.
Q: Second, is the plasma cutter up to an exact inch (updated to 7/8th inch)? This is pushing the upper threshold of most plasma cutters.
It does not need to be an exact measurement. It is meant to be the minimum capability of the cutter. In other words, it needs to be capable of cutting a minimum of 7/8th of an inch thick, mild steel.
Q: Third, what their definition of self cleaning flume extractor is. Is that were the machine automatically does this function when needed without user input or the worker pushes a button and the machine does it's operation?
Either is fine, self-cleaning per industry denotes that the filter can remove particulate with out the operator having to be exposed/come in contact with the filter to clean it.
Q: Forth, what is meant by “all required accessories for operation that is supported by local welding supplies” ?
The main concern is the ability to purchase replacement parts for broken machines. We need the ability to purchase those parts in the local area, more specifically Northern CA, in order to avoid excessive down time.
