STATEMENT OF WORK

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION ON MOBILE AUTOMATED SYSTEM (MAUS) EQUIPMENT

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, CALIFORNIA

5 February 2016

Purpose: This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the maintenance requirements for two MAUS equipment located on Beale AFB CA.

1.1. Tasks/Requirements:

1.1.1. Only one unit shall be serviced at any given time. The other unit shall be fully operational during scheduled service and calibration.

1.1.2. Annual maintenance shall include, at a minimum

1.1.2.1. Ultrasonic (UT) calibration

1.1.2.2. Telephone support (9-5 CST)

1.1.2.3. Software maintenance

1.1.2.4. Service evaluation/maintenance

1.1.2.5. Replace all worn or broken mechanical parts. Electronics parts are not included.

MAUS equipment must be fully operational after each service.

1.2. Schedule of Performance:

1.2.1. Maintenance shall be conducted in January and June each year.

1.2.2. All maintenance performed in January and June will be confirmed 21 days prior to dispatch of NDTS service technician.

1.2.3. Deviation from January and June will be coordinated and conducted either one month prior to or one month after the months indicated above.

1.3. Period of Performance:

1.3.1. Base Period: 01 Oct 2016 - 30 Sep 2017

1.3.2. Option Year 1: 01 Oct 2017 - 30 Sep 2018

1.3.3. Option Year 2: 01 Oct 2018 - 30 Sep 2019

1.3.4. Option Year 3: 01 Oct 2019 - 30 Sep 2020

1.3.5. Option Year 4: 01 Oct 2020 - 30 Sep 2021

1.4. Place of Performance:

1.4.1. Preventative Maintenance shall take place in building 1075.

2.1 Parts Replacement:

2.1.1. Contractor shall replace all worn or broken mechanical parts during the scheduled maintenance and calibration of the equipment. Any part exceeding $2,500.00 shall require Contracting Officer’s approval.

3.1 Repairs:

3.1.1 Emergency Repairs

3.1.1.1 Contractor shall provide emergency services in the event an equipment malfunction or breakdown.

3.1.1.2 Contractor must respond to Beale AFB within seven (7) days for all emergency repairs.

3.1.1.3 MAUS equipment must be fully operational within five (5) days after response.

3.1.1.4 Travel billed must be in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation on the Travel CLIN.

3.1.1.5 Parts replaced will be invoiced to the parts replacement CLIN.

3.1.1.6 Labor shall be invoiced to Emergency Hourly Rate CLIN.

3.1.2 Non-Emergency Repairs

3.1.2.1 The NDI Section Chief will ship the broken equipment to the contractor for repair.

3.1.2.2 The contractor shall return/ship the equipment back to the NDI flight chief (9 MXS).

3.1.2.3 The turnaround time shall not be more that one month to include transit times.

3.1.2.4 Parts replaced will be invoiced to the parts replacement CLIN.

3.1.2.5 Labor shall be invoiced to Non-Emergency Hourly Rate CLIN.
