RFQ number FA466126Q0079 (Amendment 001) was issued on August 14, 2026, by the Contracting Officer Cheryl Lynn. The requirement is classified under NAICS code 238320 (Painting and Wall Covering Contractors) with a $19 million size standard and is set aside for small businesses.

The Government seeks competitive quotes for two repaint jobs on a firm-fixed-price basis: repainting one F-84F Thunderstreak aircraft and one RB-66B Destroyer aircraft, each as a single job. Offerors must submit signed quotes via email to cade.watson@us.af.mil and cheryl.lynn.1@us.af.mil no later than August 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM CDT. Questions must be submitted by August 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM CDT. The required delivery date is 90 days from contract signature, though offerors may propose alternative performance periods for Government consideration. Offerors must provide a technical approach addressing surface preparation, corrosion control, painting and finishing techniques, markings/colors/insignia, quality control, and site management. Evaluation will consider price, period of performance, painting techniques, and technical acceptability to determine best value. Payment terms default to NET 30, and delivery is FOB Destination. Standard commercial warranty terms should be stated by the offeror.
