About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA466126Q0053, issued by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command for the 10 ASOS TACP Shoot Course (also referenced as "Lead Faucet Shoot Course"). The document clarifies three critical aspects of the solicitation. First, the contractor must provide both firing range facilities and contractor-delivered instruction—not facility use only. Second, instructor-led instruction must cover specific tasks identified in the Performance Work Statement, including rifle and pistol shooting, fundamentals, on-the-move techniques, and target transitions. While no specific instructor-to-student ratio is mandated, the contractor must be capable of accommodating 25 personnel per session. Third, the performance period of June 22–26, 2026, is mandatory and non-negotiable.
The underlying solicitation is a small-business set-aside for firm-fixed-price contract award. The contractor must provide firing range services with personnel and equipment sufficient to support approximately 25 trainees per session, five days per week (Monday through Friday). The range must contain at least 10–20 firing lanes with a minimum 25-yard length and accommodate 9mm, .223 caliber rifle, and 12-gauge shotgun ammunition at shooting distances ranging from 1.5 yards to 50 yards as needed for firearms qualification. The original solicitation closing date was changed to June 17, 2026, per Amendment 1. The Government has issued a Notice of Intent to award to Lead Faucet Tactical, LLC (UEI: UPBQXDANKK58), though the Government remains open to considering alternative capability statements, proposals, or quotations received before the closing date.
