Mobile Gear Shelving

Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota

2 July 2019

The contractor shall provide a Mobile Gear System designed to accommodate 30 (2) Tier Gear Lockers. A minimum of 60 lockers (Interior dimensions: 44”+tall x 36”w x 24”deep) ActivRac 7M *or equal* with (Mechanical Assist) carriages. Overall Height of the system cannot exceed 96 ½”.

Locker Specification

To be technically acceptable, the contractor must meet all of the salient characteristics listed below:

• 30 2-tiered lockers (60 lockers total)

- Qty ten (10) 2-tier Static lockers (20 lockers Total) Minimum interior dimensions 44’’tall x 36’’ wide x 24’’ deep.

- Qty twenty (20) 2-tier Mobile Lockers (40 lockers Total) Minimum interior

44’’tall x 36’’ wide x 24’’ deep, installed back-to-back on 48’’+ carriage

• Overall height of the entire system shall not exceed 96.5’’

• Carriage Aisles shall be lockable

• Lockers shall have “padlock hasps” or equal way to lock each locker

• The mobile lockers shall be mounted onto a surface mount rail system.

• All lockers shall be mounted on a mechanically assisted carriage easily operated by a single person. -ActivRac 7M or equal

Installation

• The contractor shall provide all the necessary equipment, tools and labor to install and ensure the mobile gear system is functional. Lockers shall be installed in a tiered formation.

• The mobile gear system shall fit into a 23’x24’ space.

Warranty

• Five year warranty on parts, and one year warranty on labor.
