FA4654-19-T-0002 Q&A
1. Are we requiring “Gravel” or “Aggregate”? The emails I have say “gravel” the specs say
“aggregate”.
Answer – We require aggregate.
2. What are the minimum quantities that we will be ordering?
Answer – Minimum quantities ordered will be 10 yards of concrete and or 20 tons of aggregate
3. I didn't see in your documents where your concrete is either InDOT or COE specification. What specification or guidelines will you be utilizing for this solicitation? This would be the same question for the aggregates. If these are to be used on the flight line, typically they would be a COE specification requiring SAR, soundness, mix proportioning, and other testing methods
Answer – INDOT Spec concrete will work for the concrete specifications of this project
4. Would you be able to accept #8 NDOT approved Limestone? It meets the size requirement, but it is a whitish gray rough stone, versus a smooth gravel
Answer - We want #8 NDOT approved Limestone. We do not want smooth gravel.
