Title: Repair MAF Roofs

Description:

The purpose of this project is to demo existing roofs and replace with new asphalt-shingle roof systems as identified in these specifications and project drawings. This work will be performed at six (6) Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs). Work consists of the demolition of the existing roofing system including asphalt shingles, underlayment, ice and water shield, gutters, soffit and fascia, and all other flashings trim and fasteners associated with the existing system. Existing dormers will also be demolished with roof decking repair. Installation of the new roofing system includes new shingle system as specified, new soffit and fascia, and new gutters and downspouts.

The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time.

A single, firm-fixed price contract will be awarded for the Repair MAF Roof project at Malmstrom AFB, MT. The Request for Proposal will be available no sooner than 15 December 2025. The Request for Proposal should close on or about 20 January 2026. The Period of Performance (PoP) will be 126 Days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). This acquisition is set aside for Total Small Businesses under the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Request for Proposal will only be available via Electronic Transmission on System for Award Management (SAM) site (http://www. sam.gov). The magnitude of this contract is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00

Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
