STATEMENT OF WORK

WASHER/EXTRACTOR INSTALLATION

Building 349, Base Fire Department

MALMSTROM AFB, MT

1. GENERAL

1.1. Summary of work: The contractor shall provide a washer extractor in accordance with the specifications below, remove and dispose of the old washer (see attached photos), and install the new provided washer extractor. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, accessories, and materials to properly remove existing and install new washer/extractor in building 349, on Malmstrom AFB, MT. Additionally, the contractor must provide one-time equipment training to the end user. The washer extractor provided will be:

- 60 lb - 65 lb capacity

- Cylinder volume in cu. ft (L) greater than or equal to 9.7 (275)

- Dimensions less than or equal to 34.5 x 55.69 x 57.56 ((W x D x H) – in.)

- 208 to 240 volts 3 Phase electrical service

- RinSave® water saving technology

- 7 speeds (2 wash, 1 distribution, 1 RinSave, 3 extract)

- E-P PLUS. programmable controller

- Back-lit LCD display

- Single-motor inverter drive

- Tall, lifting ribs

- Tapered roller bearings

- High M.A.F. (Mechanical Action Factor)

- Large cylinder perforations

- Fresh-water flushing chemical manifold

- Auto tension V-belt drive

- Six (6) liquid chemical injection ports

- Control reads in English/second language

- 5-year limited warranty on frame, cylinder & shell

- NFPA 1851 Compliant: This washer extractor will be used by the Malmstrom AFB Fire Department to clean firefighter gear. Thus, the washer extractor provided must be NFPA 1851 compliant.

1.2 Anti-Terrorism Awareness Training: In accordance with DoDI O-2000.16v1_AFI 10-245-O, Antiterrorism (AT) Program Implementation, ensure Level I - AT Awareness Training is completed by all contractors within 30 days of requiring access, and annually thereafter. The training will be provided by the government. The objective of the training is to provide personnel with requisite knowledge necessary to remain vigilant and enable employment of AT tactics, techniques, and procedures.

1.3 Force Protection: Contractor personnel are required to abide by all real-world Force Protection Condition (FPCON) measures, random anti-terrorism measures (RAMs), shelter-in-place orders, evacuations and lock-down notices as directed. Examples include mandatory badge or ID checks, facility single points-of-entry and searches of hand carried items.

2. MATERIALS

2.1. The contractor shall provide all material to complete the installation in accordance with standard commercial practices.

3. EXECUTION

3.1. The performance period will be 60 calendar days after order to proceed. Working hours will be from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

3.2. The contractor shall coordinate installation with the Fire Department point of contact: TSgt Whaajiep Nielsen, 406-731-3746.

3.3. The contractor shall install the washer/extractor as recommended by the manufacturer. The contractor shall provide all materials required to clean, patch, level, and prepare for new washer/extractor.

3.4. The government will inspect and accept the areas as the contractor completes them.

If any areas are found to be unacceptable when inspected by the government, the contractor shall re-perform until the newly installed area meets standard commercial practices.

4. CLEAN UP

4.1. Clean up of the job site shall be the responsibility of the installation contractor. The contractor will perform a final cleaning on all surfaces when completed.

4.2 Waste generated by the Contractor in performance of the services specified with this SOW shall be disposed of by contractor off base in compliance with State and Local ordinances.
