1. Question: Will the drawings be available in a PDF format and posted to FBO.
1. Answer: No, when changed to a PDF format the scale of the drawings is sometimes affected.
2. Question: Does Rovanco Piping Systems manufacture a product that would be accepted as an "or equal" to Perma-Pipe, per Spec 15027?
2. Answer: No, Rovanco does not meet the governments needs, here’s why; 1) Insulation on Rovanco's product is polyisocyanurate. Our specifiedproduct requires polyurethane insulation.
2) Ronvanco's product is only rated to temperatures of 450 degrees F for temporary temperature spikes. Our specifications require a continuous operating temperature of %00 degrees F. This is one of the most important part of the piping system, as our system are capable of meeting the 500 degrees operating temperature. If the insulation fails because of overheating, then we will have some major issues.
3) Anchors and supports on our specified products are thermally isolated.
4) No thrust blocks are used in this installation. Our specified installation requires thrust blocks.
5) Our specified product provides structural calculations and part location/orientation for installation. Rovanco's product does not provide those.
