About this file
This is a Salient Characteristics document for the 509 CS Switch Tech Refresh project for fiscal years 2025-2026, with a Contract Award Office (CAO) date of August 5, 2025. The government requires CISCO network switches to replace end-of-life equipment, specifically requesting two models: 6 units of the Catalyst 9300 24 GE SFP Ports (C9300-24S-A) and 116 units of the Catalyst 9300 48-Port PoE+ Network Switches (C9300-48P-A). Both models feature detailed technical specifications including switching capacity, stacking bandwidth, memory configurations, and various networking capabilities.
The procurement includes comprehensive warranty and support requirements consisting of a standard one-year manufacturer's limited commercial warranty, enhanced warranty services, and 24/7/365 technical support and on-site infrastructure response. Support services encompass dispatch and onsite infrastructure response with trained technicians, depot-level equipment repair including third-party infrastructure, network preventative maintenance, and toll-free telephone technical support. The contract structure includes three Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001 for the 24-port switches, CLIN 0002 for the 48-port switches, and CLIN 0003 for delivery services, though unit prices and extended prices are not specified in this document.
