STATEMENT OF WORK

FY 15 Remove Existing Fence Install 5 Strand

(Area 4) Barbed Wire Fence North East Perimeter

Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri 3 Sep 2015

Purpose: Remove existing barbed wire fence on newly acquired land and install new 5-strand barbed wire fence to include all post, wire, corners, H-braces and gates. New fence will be installed on Whiteman Air Force Base property boundary per the provided survey. Purpose of fence is to define cattle grazing areas. New fencing is approximately

13,603 LF. Government will provide location stakes and survey pin locations.

1. Contractor shall remove existing installed barbed wire fencing along perimeter location on the north east property line along D HWY. North boundary fence running east and west will not be removed. New fence installation shall be installed fifteen

(15) feet south of the north tree line. Contractor shall clear to bare ground removing all vegetation a fencing path along new fence line at a minimum of 8’ 0” wide.

Purpose of this is to install fencing in center of pathway. Path shall be cleared 4’ inside and 4’ outside of fence line.

2. Contractor shall remove all fencing, all posts (corner, braces, T-posts, wooden or metal posts), foundations, currently installed in fence line according to provided mapping.

3. Contractor shall clear to bare ground removing all vegetation a fencing path along new fence line at a minimum of 8’ 0” wide. Purpose of this is to install fencing in center of pathway. Path shall be cleared 4’ inside and 4’ outside of fence line.

4. Contractor shall install 5-Strand barbed wire fence and two 20’ 0” wide hollow pipe cattle gates at provided locations. Gates shall be inset to the property line a minimum of 50’ 0” constructing a inset chute area with applicable corners, bracing and fixtures to support the gate system for cattle load/unload area.

5. Contractor shall install fencing IAW Missouri Natural Resources Conservation Service

(MNRCS) Standards - Fence code 382, dated September 2008 for installation of the

5-starnd barbed wire fence construction and installation of gates.

6. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all debris, trash, and refuse generated by this project from the property of Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.
