STATEMENT OF WORK

BOWLING FACILITY EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

23 Jul 13

Provide all maintenance and repair services for bowling facility equipment located on McConnell AFB KS IAW the following specifications.

1. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

(a) The contractor will repair, maintain and perform preventative maintenance on all bowling facility equipment, to include pinsetters, lanes, ball returns, electrical scoring system, etc. at Tornado Alley on McConnell Air Force Base.

(b) Perform a weekly inspection of all equipment, identify and report any equipment in need of repair or maintenance to the Bowling Facility Manager (or his authorized representative). The Contractor shall be required to respond within 24 hrs of being called to repair broken equiipment (excluding weekends and Federal Holidays) .

(c) The contractor will clean and condition bowling facility lanes in accordance with manufacturer’s and United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Specifications as determined by the Bowling Facility Manager or his designated representative.

(d) Equipment covered by this contract include but is not limited to Brunswick GSX bowling pinsetters, bowling lanes, ball returns, QubicaAMF scoring system, lane conditioning machine, and audio equipment.

(e) The contractor shall maintain appropriate stock levels and records of spare parts for automatic pinsetters and mechanical equipment at Bowling Facility.

(f) The contractor shall submit, in writing, all requests for replacement parts to the Bowling Facility Manager (or his authorized representative) for approval prior to purchase of the part. The contractor’s request shall include the equipment manufacturer, part number and/or model number, description of the part, and the cost.

(g) Equipment replacement parts will be equipment manufacturer’s standard parts or a certifiable equal. The Bowling Facility Manager (or his authorized representative) determines what a certifiable equal is.

(h) The contractor will only accept service calls from the Bowling Facility Manager or his authorized representative.

(i) The contractor will be responsible for safeguarding government property. The contractor will complete and sign an AF Form 1297, Temporary Issue Receipt, for any equipment taken off base for repair and/or maintenance.

(j) The contractor will provide all the tools necessary to perform the work.

2. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

(a) The government will provide the facility and all utilities (water, electricity, etc)

(b) Provide the contractor with a list of operating times NLT five days after contract award. Any changes to the operating times will be provided to the contractor within 24 hours.

(c) The Bowling Facility Manager will furnish the contractor with a list of authorized representatives NLT five days after contract is awarded.

(d) Provide storage for parts and tools purchased specifically to repair bowling facility equipment.
