Q: Can we substitute the playset in the SOW for this option?
https://willygoat.com/collections/playground-equipment-2-to-12-years/products/cumberland-gap-play-system-playground?variant=31780634755169 . It is less than half the cost and meets the salient characteristics of your basis of design.
A: Yes, that would be fine (IAW Statement of Work and Appendices A and B)
Q: Is there an existing playset that needs to be demolished and removed from the site?
A: The existing playset was removed but there are still 3 of the in-ground concrete foundations. Not too deep but we couldn’t remove due to customer load.
Q: Do we need to add timbers or border material around the playset area?
A: Simple timber border would suffice.
Q: Do we need to add mulch around the playset? If so, provide the depth and area?
A: Please follow the Consumer Product Safety Commission Playground Safety Handbook for the type of playground being installed. Depth of material is typically a factor of height of play structures.
