Statement of Work Provide Asphalt and Related Materials
I. DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and transportation necessary for the delivery of "Hot G" 3/8" 64-28 (post mix) asphalt in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations and this statement of work to Fairchild AFB, WA.
1.1 SCOPE OF WORK
1.1.1 Work under this contract shall include the delivery of asphalt to various job locations on Fairchild AFB, WA.
The asphalt must be "Hot G" 3/8" 64-28 and it shall meet WSDOT standards of class mixes. The contractor shall provide:
a. Asphalt mix as ordered.
b. Trucks
c. Drivers
1.1.2. The Contractor shall provide up to 1,200 tons 3/8 Hot G Mix 64-28 Oil Asphalt by the issuance of delivery orders from 25 June 2022 to 01 November 2022. All orders are subject to the limitations outlined in FAR 52.216-19 “Ordering Limitations”.
1.1.3. Material will be delivered to the job site on Fairchild AFB as indicated by personnel authorized to place orders. The Contractor will have a minimum of 48 hours' notice to provide required tonnage of asphalt of 3/8 Hot G mix 64-28 Oil Asphalt after request is called in by authorized Government representative. The Contractor will be required to deliver Asphalt within 20 minutes of production to the site at a temperature between 250 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit, optimizing the efficiency of a continuous pour. Quantity and interval of trucks onsite at one time will be determined by asphalt supervisor and relayed to the Contractor at the time of order (allowing for real-time adjustments throughout the course of the pour).
1.1.4. The Government reserves the right to refuse delivery of any product that does not meet the "Hot G" 3/8" 64-28 (post mix) requirement, WSDOT standards for class mixes, or for asphalt received after 20 minutes of production or outside of the above stated temperature range.
2. GENERAL INFORMATION:
2.1 Hours Of Operation: The normal hours of operation are 0700 to 1700 hrs, Monday- Friday, excluding federal holidays (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day). Weekend, Holiday and/or "after hours" deliveries with proper notice may be required.
