SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS FOR A TV

The TV is an 8-wheel vehicle that can be utilized by SERE medics to respond to emergencies/patient calls in 10 austere training locations, tow SKEDCO/ trailers/carts, carrying multiple medical responders including treatment gear, and transport patients in either a seated/fully supine position during all-seasons, weather, and road/trail conditions.

The TV have the following Salient Characteristics:

asoline engine with electric start and a minimum of 33 horsepower

Standard orque transmission that includes hydraulic braking/steering

Air Lock steel rims allow operators to adjust tire pressure to the terrain permitting the vehicle to be used amphibiously or to provide superior traction when driving off-road in challenging terrain windshield often waterproof top

Dual Hi/Low Projector Beam Headlights

Brake/tail lights

Cabin heating and defrost capability

Capable of carrying a minimum of 4 passengers

Equipped with Emergency Medical Service stretcher mount designed for reliable off-road search and rescue capability

Equipped with split seats to provide adaptable seating arrangements which can be utilized an adjustable built-in stretcher allowing for patient stabilization on litter/spine board to meet national standard of care

Minimum 7 gallon fuel tank

Minimum towing capacity 1,800 pounds

Front winch with a minimum of 3,500 pound rating to assist with high-angle extractions of equipment and/or debris
