QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. Does the response to the question #3 of Amendment 0002 listed below also pertain to the de-icing and providing fleet services to the 92nd ARW aircraft as well? Will the government also de-ice the 92nd ARW aircraft if the Transient Alert crew is handling a TA aircraft?
Question #3: Transient Alert Aircraft Services & Other Services; Will the Handling and processing of transient aircraft be considered a priority over the deicing, deicing fluid recovery, and fleet services of 92nd ARW aircraft or will the Government expect the contractor to perform services at the same time? RESPONSE: "Transient Aircraft take priority: If the contractor cannot get to a de-icing cleanup due to being engaged with Transient Aircraft, the government will clean up the de-icing fluid."
Answer:
Deicing is only a responsibility of TA for Transient Aircraft. Deicing for 92 ARW will be performed by 92 ARW. Transient Aircraft take priority. When actively engaged with a Transient Aircraft, and TA will not be able to perform services in a timely manner the government will perform fleet services and de-icing cleanup. Timely matter is considered within 30 min.
2. Since we are not to fill in Schedule B and submit Attachment 1, are you still requiring us to submit an unfilled Schedule B.?
Answer:
The government is requiring a signed copy of the SF1449 cover page and all amendments.
Attachment 1 (pricing schedule) is required to be filled out. However, schedule B will not be required in the submission of your proposal.
