This Statement of Work (SOW) dated February 20, 2025 outlines requirements for replacing six overhead shop doors at Building 930. The project involves demolishing and disposing of existing overhead doors, operators, pushbutton controls, and associated components, and installing new coil-up doors with operators and controls. Five doors will be Raynor Duracoil Insulated Coiling Doors (20ft x 14ft) with NEMA 1 rating, while one door requires wash rack rating with NEMA 4 specifications. All doors must feature grey finish, windlocks every 4th slat, 15K cycle springs, and 40 PSF minimum wind load.
The SOW specifies detailed technical requirements including 22-gauge metal thickness, galvanized steel construction, vision lites, safety devices, and electrical specifications for 460-volt three-phase operators with 30 cycles/hour duty cycle. The contractor must follow green procurement mandates, verify all measurements, coordinate with facility occupants as the building remains in use, and complete the work within 160 calendar days. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays. The project requires proper handling of potential hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, mold), obtaining necessary permits, and maintaining daily site cleanup.
