About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal demolition project involving five buildings on a military base. The project requires comprehensive demolition services, including building removal, utility disconnection, abatement of potential asbestos and lead materials, and site restoration. Key requirements include field verifying utilities, capping and removing utility lines, obtaining necessary permits, and re-seeding the site to match existing adjacent vegetation.

Significant project details include: no escorts are required, the government will provide site access, the transformer will remain in place, contractors must contact the Base Fire Department for water usage, and a generic pasture seed is acceptable for site restoration. The bid due date has been extended to 09/26/2025. Contractors are responsible for dust control, utility verification, and removing all buildings and contents. The site is located near Rogers Road, with a recycling center approximately 3 miles away, and contractors must arrange their own housing in the City of Cheyenne.
