Questions and Answers Q1: At the walk-through, I was told we would install an RG-11 cable from the existing pedestal at Bldg. 1250 to a new pedestal in the area where the temporary SATAF building will be located, and then from that new pedestal connecting to another new pedestal located on the north side of the communications room of bldg. 1292.
A1: The updated requirements require a cable run of RG-11 to be ran from an existing pedestal at bldg. 1250 to the termination point depicted on the attached map. The previous requirement to terminate at bldg. 1292 has been terminated from the project.
Q2: The amendment shows that we will be installing an RG-11 Cable going from bldg. 1250 to the temporary SATAF building only. I want to ensure that this is correct.
A2: Yes, this is correct.
Q3: Are we providing the pedestals or is charter?
A3: The selected contractor will provide a pedestal Q4: If we are providing the pedestals, can we be provided with some specifications for them?
A4: I currently don’t have specifications, but can work with either base communications or Spectrum.
Q5: Can you please provide a copy of the site walk list?
A5: .The site visit sign in sheet has been added as an attachment in SAM.
Q6: We would like to request a 5-day extension from the date the response to questions is provided.
A6: I have no issues with this request.
