QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. Q: Is there a current incumbent? If so, who and what is the value of the existing contract?
A: There is no current incumbent, this is a new requirement.
2. Q: The PWS states this is a part-time contract-what is the estimated number of hours that should be bid?
A: This is not a part-time contract. A revised Performance Work Statement (PWS) was uploaded to FBO.gov. This contract is performance based. Performance based standards establish the performance level required by the
Government to meet the contract requirements. As outlined in the revised PWS the focus is the required results, not
"how" the work is to be accomplished or the number of hours.
3. Q: Are the past performance references required to be in the last 3 or last 5 years? According to FAR provision 212-2 as outlined in the solicitation recency is 3 years.
A: We will review past performance references , there are no specific time frames required.
4. Q: The PWS initially states that all tools and supplies are to be provided by the contractor. Section 5.2 then states that the Government will provide all needed general supplies for the performance of duties. A: Cannot verify specific tools. The contractor must bring all tools necessary to meet the requirement.

8. Q: Should our proposed candidate possess IA Certification, if yes please specify what level?
A: Yes, This IA (Cyber Security) certification is Government specific. If the candidate already has this it should be provided. If the candidate does not have it this training must be attained within 2 weeks after award.
