About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA452826Q0012 for OTS-600 Dry Suits.
The document addresses quoter inquiries regarding delivery schedule requirements. The Government clarified that the 30-calendar-day delivery schedule stated in Section F represents an initial desired timeline rather than a mandatory pass/fail eligibility criterion. Quoters may propose alternate delivery schedules based on documented original equipment manufacturer (OEM) production lead times, including schedules extending to 160 days after receipt of order (ARO) if supported by realistic, documented manufacturer lead times. The Government confirmed it will evaluate quotations containing realistic delivery timelines, with final delivery terms to be incorporated into the resulting purchase order upon award. The quotation submission deadline remains unchanged and will not be extended to accommodate additional Government review time on delivery schedule issues.

Questions & Answers FA452826Q0012, OTS-600 Dry Suits
1 & 2. Does the 30-calendar-day delivery requirement remain mandatory? Will the Government amend the delivery schedule to accommodate the manufacturer’s documented production lead time?
A: The 30-calendar-day delivery schedule in Section F is the Government’s initial desired/requested schedule, not a mandatory pass/fail requirement to be eligible for award consideration. Quoters may propose an alternate delivery schedule based on the OEM’s documented production lead times.
3 & 4. If the requirement is not amended, will the Government consider a quotation that clearly identifies the manufacturer’s earliest achievable delivery schedule? Given the current manufacturer and market lead times for the exact brand-name product required, would the Government consider a 160-day ARO delivery schedule for this contract?
A: Yes. The Government will evaluate quotations that include realistic, documented manufacturer lead times. Final delivery terms will be incorporated into the resulting purchase order if an award is made.
5. Will the quotation deadline be extended if the Government needs additional time to review this issue?
A: No. The quotation submission deadline remains unchanged.
