Attachment 6 Pre-Proposal Offeror Questions and Government Responses
Repair Bldg. 995 Parking Lot
FA4528-18-R-0012
30 April 2018
1. Q: Will we be doing 2” of overlay or just stablizing the base?
A: 2" of overlay. This is an error in the project documents. 2" will be milled, then a bituminous tack coat will be placed on the underlying asphalt layer, and then a 2" overlay will be placed. No stabilization will need to be done.
2. Q: Do you want us to repaint the lines currently in the lot?
A: Lines will not need to be painted as part of this contract
3. Q: Is there any concrete on the site that the Statement of Work does not show?
A: Yes there are small sections of concrete on the edges of the buildings touching the parking lot. These concrete section are to be left as is.
4. Q: Do you want a better apron Transition to the gas tank area?
A: Yes, please provide a smooth transition between the parking lot and the concrete pad supporting the gas tank. The current transition is too steep in some sections.
