MEMORANDUM FOR PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS

SUBJECT: FA446021R0007 Questions and Answers

1. The purpose of this memorandum is to documents all question and answers during the solicitation of FA446021R0007.

a. Q1 - Standard Form 1449 indicates offer due date 4/19/21 but announcement requests questions by 4/23/21. Please clarify? when are offers due?

A1 – Questions were due by 23 Apr 21 and the offers are due 30 Apr 21 as identified in the previously attached Amendment 1.

b. Q2 - Standard Form 1449 shows Lots and hours. How many units in a Lot and is hours the number of hours of maintenance and for what period one month, one year or total length of contract.

A2 – The number of units in the lot will be defined by the individual Task Order.

For the initial Task Order the number of units is listed in Attachment 3 Washer and Dryer Schedule B. Pricing shall be completed using both tabs of the

Schedule B in order to determine Task Order rates. The number of hours is an estimated total for hours of possible maintenance to be performed not to exceed

120 hours per year.

c. Q3 - Appendix A indicates that you want to lease 75 washers, 80 dryers and 22 stacked washer/dryer combos. standard form 1449 indicates a space for Lot and hours. Please explain how many washers, dryers and combo units in a lot. Also what does hours represent?

A3 – The eventual contract will be an IDIQ therefore the use of LOT is a place holder Unit of Issue for the CLINS. The ensuing Task Orders will be billed as months. The number of washers, dryers, and combo units for the first Task Order is detailed in the Schedule B. The other extended pricing is for future Task

Orders that will issued based on the need. Hours represent maintenance hours for non-scheduled maintenance for items such as misuse and damage from inappropriate usage.

d. Q4 - Schedule B washer and dryer lease price listing shows period of washer lease of 56 months, dryers 60 months and combos 24 months.

A4 – The first Task Order is as follows. Unit of Measure, Months, Unit Quantity

12. Therefore the Period of Performance is 12 months. The lease of 56 washers, 60 dryers, and 24 combos is how much of each piece of equipment the government requires for the first Task Order.

e. Q5 - How many washers, dryers and combos you want to lease and for how many months.

A5 – For the first Task Order the government intends to lease 56 washers, 60 dryers, and 24 combinations machines. This will be for a period of 12 months.

f. Q6 – How many washers, dryers and combos will be delivered at the beginning of the contract and if additional washers, dryers and combos will be delivered later, how many and when?

A6 – The number of washers, dryers, and combos to be delivered at the beginning of the contract will be determined by the first Task Order issued against the ensuing IDIQ contract. Additional washer, dryers, and combos to be delivered later will be determined by future government needs and the contractor will have adequate time to procure additional equipment. Pricing for future Task Orders will be determined by Attachment 3 Price List.
