STATEMENT OF WORK
Motorcycle Safety Course
This statement of work specifically outlines the responsibilities and services expected of a contractor quoting/awarding the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course contract.
The Contractor is responsible for training and certifying, basic and experienced riders in order for the rider to gain a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Card by:
1. Contractor shall provide certified rider coaches to train riders. Rider coaches are to be Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Rider Coach certified.
2. Ensuring rider coaches to students is set to 1:6.
3. There will be (16) basic rider courses and (4) experienced riders courses spread out over the 12 month fiscal year. Course schedules will be agreed upon by both the 314 Air Wing Safety Squadron Representative and the contractor.
4. Number of hours per course is based on MSF specifications. The basic rider courses are two days in length while the experienced rider courses are one day.
5. Contractor must provide all text materials, which shall be the most up to date MSF sanctioned material.
6. Contractor shall provide sufficient number of motorcycles for the basic riders’ course. (Students will provide their own motorcycle for the experienced rider courses.) Maximum student attendance per course is 10.
7. Training will be held on Little Rock Air Force Base at the Safety Office Building 1260 and the range exercise will be in the parking lot of Building 432.
