Vendor Questions/Responses

Q1: As of the latest revision “Price must include delivery/installation/brief tutorial of equipment operation at each location.” Does the installation and training apply to the Shredder only being delivered to Little Rock AFB?

A1: No, delivery/installation/brief tutorial of equipment operation is listed under the box maker specifications because it is the only piece of equipment that requires it. The shredders and staplers do not require installation or any training/tutorial. Please note that the manuals and any tools required for operation are required as stated in the solicitation.

Q2: The Stanley Bostitch people are asking me if the “curved clincher blade” is a right or left? I thought the “CR” designation made it obvious, but they say “CR” means nothing to them.

A2: I have talked to the people at Stanley Bostitch as well as our end user. The main difference with the right or left blade is which side of the assembly line you are going to be standing on. Since this is not a strictly assembly line set-up, it has been determined that either will be acceptable.

Q3: Several people have pointed out that the P50CR10B is not available; and asked about the P51CR10B.

A4: The P51CR10B is an acceptable unit.
