SOURCES SOUGHT – Brand Name or Equal – Lion BullsEye Digital Fire Extinguisher Training System, Travis AFB, CA FA442725QZ075
60th Contracting Squadron Travis AFB, CA Submitted 30 January 2025 Responses Due: 14 February 2025, 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time
REQUIREMENT
60 MDSS/SGSM/SE
The 60th Medical Support Squadron at Travis AFB, CA has a Brand Name or Equal requirement for a Lion BullsEye Digital Fire Extinguisher Training System V3 (Item #FE1526) Base Package, eliminates the hazards of live burns, and can be used completely indoors, anywhere fire may occur in a real emergency. One person can plug the system in, set up, and be ready in just a minute.
Sensors detect trainees’ actions and respond like a real fire. The flames will only subside and go out if the trainee uses the proper P.A.S.S. (Pull the extinguisher pin. Aim the nozzle at the base of the fire. Squeeze the lever above the handle. Sweep the nozzle from side to side.) method. Bullseye extinguishers are set to discharge for the same amount of time as a real extinguisher and are weighted accordingly to closely simulate actual extinguishers. The BullsEye uses lasers to simulate the discharge of actual extinguishers for a completely clean and safe training experience. More Information can be referenced in the attached Statement of Need. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 315999 - Other Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing.
