About this file

This document is a draft Statement of Work (SOW) for a bathymetric survey and reconnaissance sampling and testing at Travis Marina. The scope of work requires the contractor to conduct a comprehensive bathymetric survey of the entire water body of Travis Marina using state-of-the-art surveying equipment and techniques to collect accurate depth data. The contractor shall also perform reconnaissance sampling and testing to determine if chemicals of concern in the sediments are at or below screening levels for in-Bay or wetland beneficial reuse placement. The deliverables include digital bathymetric maps, contour lines, a survey report, and a memorandum summarizing the analytical chemistry results. The survey is required to be completed within 90 days of the project commencement date. The contractor must have prior experience in conducting bathymetric surveys and utilize state-of-the-art equipment. Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion and acceptance of the deliverables. The survey deliverables are subject to review and approval by the marina management.

The related federal contract opportunity is for a bathymetric survey and reconnaissance sampling and testing at Travis Marina, to be conducted for the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. The solicitation number is FA442724QZ048, and the opportunity type is a pre-solicitation.

DRAFT

Statement of Work (SOW)

Bathymetric Survey and Reconnaissance Sampling and Testing for Travis Marina

Introduction:

• The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to outline the requirements and expectations for conducting a bathymetric survey at Travis Marina for the purpose of gathering accurate depth information of the water body. In addition, reconnaissance sampling and testing will be performed to determine if chemicals of concern (COC) in sediments are at or below screening levels of in-Bay or wetland beneficial reuse placement.

Scope of Work:

• The contractor shall conduct a comprehensive bathymetric survey of Travis Marina using state-of-the-art surveying equipment and techniques to collect accurate depth data.

• The survey area shall cover the entire water body of Travis Marina, including all marina basins, docks, and other relevant areas as specified by the marina management.

• The survey shall be conducted during 0800-1700, Monday thru Friday, taking into account tidal conditions and weather patterns to ensure optimal data collection.

• The contractor shall provide a detailed bathymetric survey report including data processing, analysis, and visualization of the collected depth information.

• The final deliverables shall include digital depth maps, contour lines, and a comprehensive report outlining the methodology, results, and recommendations based on the survey findings.

• Perform reconnaissance sampling and testing. This will entail:

o Collection of 4 sediment samples within the Travis Marina dredge boundary.

o Samples will be submitted for analytical chemistry suite of COCs to assess if sediments could be placed in-Bay or at a wetland beneficial reuse site such as Cullinan Ranch Restoration Project or Montezuma Wetlands Restoration Project.

Deliverables:

• Digital bathymetric maps of Travis Marina showing depths in meters or feet as specified by the marina management.

• Contour lines indicating depth variations within the survey area.

• Bathymetric survey report including methodology, data analysis, findings, and recommendations.

• Any raw data collected during the survey in a format compatible with GIS software for further analysis if required.

• Results memorandum summarizing analytical chemistry results. These results will be for internal use only and do not constitute regulatory compliant sampling and testing. Results are for informational purposes only.

DRAFT

Schedule:

• The bathymetric survey shall be completed within 90 days of the project commencement date.

• The contractor shall provide regular progress updates to the marina management throughout the survey process.

Qualifications:

• The contractor shall have prior experience in conducting bathymetric surveys for marinas or similar water bodies.

• The contractor shall have access to and utilize state-of-the-art bathymetric surveying equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.

Payment Terms:

• Payment shall be made to the contractor upon satisfactory completion and acceptance of the deliverables by the marina management.

• Any additional costs incurred during the survey process shall be approved in writing by the marina management before being reimbursed.

Acceptance Criteria:

• The survey deliverables shall be subject to review and approval by the marina management based on the accuracy and completeness of the data collected.

• Any discrepancies or errors identified in the deliverables shall be rectified by the contractor at no additional cost to the marina management.
