Statement of Work (SOW) for Aerospace Ground Equipment Shop Equipment

Waterproof GPS Trackers for Travis AFB, 60 MXS/MXMG

GPS TRACKER

SPECIFICATIONS

1.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

1.1 The purpose of these specifications is to define the requirements needed for GPS Tracking devices for Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE). AGE requires two types of Satellite GPS Tracking devices.

1.2 Type one has an internal battery (Para 2), type two connects to the unit’s battery (Para 3).

1. The Satellite Trailer GPS tracking devices used for Non-Powered Equipment must be rugged and waterproof and must be able to monitor and track Aerospace Ground Equipment globally.

1.1 The GPS tracking device will be used on heavy equipment that will be deployed for an extended period so it must be maintenance free, and have a 5-Year battery life.

1.2 The GPS tracking devices must be sealed and built to handle adverse weather conditions.

1.3 The GPS tracking devices will be capable of being updated on a specific scheduled time of day and updated on real-time tracking using a reliable 4G/CDMA service.

1.4 The GPS tracking devices will incorporate an over-the-air device management and maintenance software. Configuration parameters, scripts, and firmware that can all be updated over the air, and offers out-of-the-box, hands-free configuration and automatic post-installation upgrades

1.5 The GPS Tracking devices will incorporate an on-board alert engine. This application monitors environmental conditions and power management, and supports customer defined modifications f behavior of the device at installation or in the field.

1.6 The GPS tracking devices will include 3 years of service, and have no monthly fees or contracts associated with the trackers.

2. The Satellite GPS tracking devices used for powered equipment must be rugged and waterproof and must be able to monitor and track Aerospace Grounds Equipment globally.

2.1 The GPS tracking devices will be used on heavy equipment that will be deployed for an extended period so it must be maintenance free, able to connect to the unit’s 12vdc or 24vdc battery, and have an internal back-up battery, no external wired antennas will be accepted.

2.2 The GPS tracking devices will have internal antennas for both cellular and GPS tracking.

2.3 The GPS tracking devices must to sealed and built to handle adverse weather conditions.

2.4 The GPS tracking devices will be capable of being updated on a specific scheduled time of day and updated on real-time tracking using a reliable 4G/CDMA service.

2.5 The GPS tracking devices will incorporate an over-the-air device management and maintenance software. Configuration parameters, scripts, and firmware that can all be updated over the air, and offers out-of-the-box, hands-free configuration and automatic post-installation upgrades.
