STATEMENT OF WORK FOR 60 APS ANNUAL SCALE CALIBRATION
Test, calibrate and certify scales as prescribed below by no later than the following dates for each contract year:
Base Year - 1 April 2018 Option Year 1 – 1 April 2019 Option Year 2 – 1 April 2020 Option Year 3 – 1 April 2021 Option Year 4 – 1 April 2022
1. Certify scales with 15, 000lbs of NIST Traceable Standards to +/- 1% tolerance and corner load test to 2,000 lbs. Scale information is broken out in the table below:
2. Make adjustments as required to bring each scale within proper tolerance.
3. Upon completion, provide a complete Calibration Report for each device, showing procedure used, corner load test with before and after readings, nine test points with tolerances, before readings, before errors, as left readings and as left errors. The nine test points will begin with zero, increasing load test then decreasing load test ending with zero. Also provide a Certificate of Calibration with the N.I.S.T. numbers and expiration dates for each device with the Calibration Report.
4. Permissible work hours are 0600 am to 1530 pm Monday through Friday. 0600-1430 Sunday and Saturday.
5. Confined Space entry may be required if certain adjustments are necessary on some systems.
6. Contractor will furnish all equipment (forklifts, etc.) necessary to accomplish overall service.
7. MMHS maintenance personnel will assist by providing escort as required and will also operate air cargo system equipment as necessary to accomplish work.
