Q &A
1. Do items have to be made in America or TAA compliant?
A) The Buy American Act does not apply to this requirement.
2. “Will you be accepting alternative bids or can you only submit one bid? If you will accept alternative bids, should they be totally separate or in one bid?”
A) Yes, you can submit multiple bids if they are equal item.
3. Does this solicitation require installation? Do we have a loading dock or would the contractor need to provide lift gate?
A) Installation will not be required. Yes, we have a loading dock located on the outside of our warehouse.
4. Will this order be placed in one order or will it be split up over the year?
A) This will be one total order.
5. “Can we submit a bid for the Versa Power Desktop it is equal - it is electronic?”
A) Products with equal specification will be reviewed.
6. “We would like to send you a unit for evaluation please let me know if you are interested?”
A) Vendors please refrain from sending us items. We will not accept them.
7. When are quotes due?
A) Quotes are due no later than 1100 PST, 05 January 2017.
8. “Are there any specific requirements worth noting for the Exec 40?”
A) Please refer to solicitation
9. “I would like to recommend a 41" corner desk instead of the CubeCorner 48. At this size, you still have enough width for 2 monitors, but it fits MUCH better in the corner of a desk (those extra 7" on the Varidesk aren't really usable space). They're also going to be better quality and less expensive. Do you think such a substitute would be acceptable? I'd be happy to send more information in advance, if you think that would help.”
A) Please offer a bid that coresponds with the specification within the combo. Deviating from the basic specification in the combo will not suffice the requirement. Only “or equal” items will be considered.
