STATEMENT OF WORK
WASHER & DRYER REPLACEMENT
PURPOSE: To replace, install, palletize, and remove 358 washers & dryers located in building 1304 (14), 1305 (12), 1308 (12), 1309 (14), 1334 (12), 1350 (18), 1351 (18), 1352 (8), 1353 (8), 1354 (20), 1355 (20), 1356 (20), and Bld P18 (30) in the vicinity of 694 A Street, Travis AFB CA 94535. These services are to include, but not limited to: 1) delivery of new washers and dryers, 2) unloading from the delivery truck with no dock or lift gate located at delivery location, 3) unpacking washers and dryers, 4) installation of the new washers and dryers into three floors to include all ductwork, braided lines electrical cords, materials, hookups, 5) removal of old washers and dryers, 6) relocate 14 already in place dryers to two dorms on first floor 7) provide pallets and shrink wrap for all old washers and dryers for DRMO disposal to (location 25600 S Chrisman Rd, Tracy, CA 95304) 8) dispose of any packing materials from the shipment of new washers and dryers. All old washers and dryers will be stored on base until transported to Tracy. Due to the size/scope of the project 90 days will be allotted for replacement.
CONTRACTOR SUPPLIED ITEMS: The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, and parts for on-site and off-site delivery, replacement and disposal at no additional costs to the government. Contractor will coordinate delivery and installation along with any security needed of uninstalled items until they can be installed with coordination and approval with the government. Contractor will comply with all necessary requirements to gain access to base.
HOURS OF OPERATION: All services shall be performed during government's normal working hours which are: Monday thru Friday 0730-1600 with modified hours on military down days and US Holidays. The government will not compensate costs from overtime unless otherwise authorized herein.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: Appointments to deliver all old machines will be made by POC. Contractor will deliver old appliances to final drop off location on the dates and times specified by POC. There is no lift gate or loading dock at the delivery site so accommodations need to be made at no expense to the government. Disposal of washer and dryer boxes should be recycled if possible. Please note that old washers and dryers may be staged on Travis AFB for a max of 90 days until an available appointment is scheduled for turn-in. An extension will be requested if the completion of this contract will take longer than 90 days. Coordinate with Mr. Adrian Wiggins (POC) for instructions on staging old washers and dryers.
