STATEMENT OF WORK

Area B Fuel Pump Repair

WT#1703860

1. Description: Issue pump for fuel hydrant system at Area B has failed. Repair efforts are necessary to restore fuel pump and system operation.

2. Scope: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation and personnel necessary to:

2.1. D&I: Disassemble Fuel Issue pump, Sandblast parts and inspect all parts.

2.2. Case: Remove case wear ring, Install new case gasket, manufacture new case wear ring. Install wear ring and secure it. Inspect it and prepare for final assembly

2.3. Covers: Remove cover wear ring and throat bushing. Manufacture new cover wear ring and throat bushing. Install ring and throat bushing and secure them. Machine cover wear ring and throat bushing ID to proper size. Install new seal gasket.

2.4. Impeller(s): Install new impeller if existing impeller is NOT in good condition.

Manufacture new impeller wear rings, install rings and secure them. Machine impeller wear ring to proper size and balance impeller. Install new impeller nut and new sleeve spacer.

2.5. Shaft: Provide new shaft if existing shaft is NOT in good condition and include new lockwasher and new locknut.

2.6. Provide and install new mechanical seal.

2.7. Provide and install new Rexnord coupling.

2.8. Bearing Housing: Coat bearing housing, Assemble bearing housing, new shims, new radial bearings, new thrust bearing and new Inpro seals.

2.9. Final Assembly: Assemble bearing housing and install mechanical seal. Assemble pump, air test the seal and paint pump.

3. The contractor shall remove and dispose of all waste and excess material generated while performing repairs.

4. Location: All work on this project will be performed at the manufacture’s facility.

4.1. The Government shall transport the pump to the manufactures location.

4.2. The contractor shall provide return transport of repaired pump to 60 CES/CEOIU, 249 V Street (Bldg. 875), Travis AFB, CA 94535
