About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement of a comprehensive library information desk system for the Hurlburt Field Base Library located at 443 Cody Avenue. The contract requires the installation of multiple Harmony furniture components, including a book return unit, padded bottom cart, desks with patron ledges (in 60" and 72" widths), a 90-degree corner unit, open shelf units, a full top desk unit, an eight-drawer unit, and a cupboard unit. The specific furniture pieces are part number P20552910 through P20553230, with natural maple wood finish and doeskin corian tops, designed to create an L-shaped information desk configuration that ensures patron privacy and provides functional storage and service areas.

The contractor must provide inside delivery and installation on the first floor, using a liftgate truck, and is responsible for removing packaging, debris, and the existing information desk. Installation requires consultation with the library team to place units in designated locations, with specific units for storing library supplies, forms, templates, cleaning supplies, printers, and charging equipment. The contractor must have certified personnel capable of installing the specified equipment, provide a contract manager, and ensure no government property is damaged during the installation process. The deliverables include written documentation identifying completed installation and applicable instructions and warranties.
