1. The specifications call out a required GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 17,000 lbs.

GVWR is calculated by adding the rating of the trailer axles together, in this case the axles are rated for 8,000 lbs each. The GVWR requirement in this case should only be 16,000 lbs, not the 17,000 called out in the specs.

A: 17,000 lbs is the max allowable so, the 16,000 falls underneath that requirement and is acceptable.

2. Customer equipment area:

A: We do not have any drawings

b. Are there electrical requirement for the system?

5. Is the entire trailer tower unit to be painted gray or just the trailer chassis?

A: No paint required.

a. If just the trailer chassis we assume this is in place of galvanizing.

i. Our trailer chassis are hot dip galvanized as the standard. Is this acceptable? If so, is paint still required?

A: Yes Galvanized is acceptable. No paint required.

6. What is the total EPA/sail area of the equipment that will be mounted on the tower? Are there any wind speed requirements? Are there any requirements for a PE stamped analysis for your specific application?

A: Withstand 90mph winds erected and 150mph retracted. We have a long wire HF antenna that will be mounted to the tower and it is inverted v that stakes down to the ground.

7. Is a field tested and proven all aluminum construction tower consisting of (4) 30’ sections acceptable?

A: If it meets the requirements then, we have no issue.
