Questions and Answers Combative Skills Training Solicitation #: FA4417-17-R-0005 12/16/2016 Question #1: Does the combined Synopsis/Solicitation under solicitation number FA441717R0005 contain requirements similar to a current contract? Is this a new requirement for the government?

Answer #1: The previous contract (FA4417-12-P-R006) was for a base period plus four (4) option years. The requirements are similar but not the same.

Questions and Answers Combative Skills Training Solicitation #: FA4417-17-R-0005 12/22/2016 Question #1: What level of proficiency are you looking to obtain? (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert) Answer #1: There is no set level of proficiency we are looking to obtain. This is part of a training program for Special Operations personnel and will provide a baseline understanding of combative skills for the students to continue to build with.

Question #2: Do you want to issue new certifications or receive established certifications such as SOCP?

Answer #2: We do require your established certifications in the combative field such as SOCP as well as the confirmation of black belt degree as stated in the PWS.

Question #3: Do the instructors have to be present on the training grounds when training is now being conducted?

Answer #3: Instructors are only required to be present when the training classes are being conducted.

Question #4: Due to the complexity of the contract and the upcoming holidays, would the contracting office be willing to extend the solicitation due date by 5 business days?

Answer #4: Due to the government’s need for this training it cannot be extended past the original date.
