1 25‐May‐23 25‐May‐23 Are furniture faceplates for data/electrical provided with the furniture contract, or are these to be provided by contractor?
Comm faceplates and jacks are not included.
2 25‐May‐23 25‐May‐23 Can we get a report of loads that are on each circuit (to ensure that the circuits can support the scheduled furniture and anything else on that circuit).
Panel study provided to 375 CONS.
From installer: I personally use about 1.4 to 1.7 amps steady state all day with a clock radio, phone, headset, two LED monitors and a laptop running. If I move my electrically adjustable Genesis table up or down I can add at most 5 amps during the movement.
3 25‐May‐23 25‐May‐23 What type of wire and connection is the whip and what size are the overcurrent protection devices (OCPD) for each corresponding circuit?
From Installer: Each circuit can have up to 20 amps of power. Depending on how many circuits are available in the building you could have a 622 infeed/whip with 6 circuits x20 amps = 120 amps.
From installer: The whip/infeeds are 6’ long and have 10 wires. Either 442 or 622 configuration. 4 x 20 amps or 6 x 20 amps.
4 25‐May‐23 25‐May‐23 Is the current whip that is being pulled back for later use compatible with new furniture or will connection/termination need to be replaced?
Per CES, the cables/connection should be able to be reused.
5 25‐May‐23 25‐May‐23 Will the security boxes for the switches be government provided or are they expected to be provided materials?
Security boxes will be provided
6 25‐May‐23 25‐May‐23 Is there a requirement for a licensed electrician on this job?
Yes
