1. Is it a strict " linen exchange service" without any laundering and dry-cleaning requirement?
This is only a Linen Exchange Service.
2. Is there a date set aside for the prospective contractor's site visit?
There is currently no site visit planned.
3. What is the current value of the contract?
The current value is a poor estimate of this upcoming contract due to the PWS and period of performance having differences.
4. What is the minimum number of personnel required to fulfill services at the 3 buildings locations?
An onsite manager and two stock clerks are the only mention of manning, which would be one person per location.
5. What is considered a unit, for pricing purposes?
The unit for pricing purposes is broken down into historical data in the PWS to assist in pricing.
6. Will the contractor interact with individual customers, unit customers or/and vendors?
The personnel may have interaction with customers and the onsite manager and alternates must be able to read, write, and speak English.
