NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE LEASE OF NEO BLOOD ANALYZER

FA3047-13-R-0011

The 802d Contracting Squadron, intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed-Price Lease of the Immucor NEO Blood Analyzer, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.5, to ImmucorGamma, Inc., to be used for medical processing of approximately 60,000 basic military trainess during initial medical processing. The period of performance (PoP) for this requirement is 01 February 2013 through 31 January 2018 (base plus 4 option years). This requirement is being awarded to this vendor due to the fact that ImmucorGamma, Inc. conatins proprietary data to its speed and versatility. To date, no other sources have expressed an interest in this requirement.

The anticipated date of award date is 01 February 2013.. The NAICS code of this procurement is 532490 and the size standard is 500 employees. The total estimated dollar value of the lease contract over the full period is $271,855.80.

This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all proposals received by 12:00 pm, CST, 17 January 2013 will be reviewed and considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor’s bona fide capability to provide this equipment.

Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All information submitted should support the vendor’s definite capability to provide the service required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
