Questions and Answers (07 Feb 17)

Question #1: Is there a lead room with the traps?

Answer: There is no lead room with traps.

Question #2: Can we see pictures or photos of the range interior?

Answer: Cannot be provided due to security reasons.

Question #3: Can you specify the number of filters to be provided by the contractor anually?

Answer: See Peformance Work Statement Section 2.2.7.

Question #4: How many 2 gallon buckets are there? Will the government provide drums for bullet collection?

Answer: There are two primary ones and two others that collect.

Question #5: Is this new requirement? Or what is the previous contract number and value?

Answer: Previous contract was FA3030-14-P-0001, which was valued at $136k for a Base and Two option years

Question #6: Will there be a site visit?

Answer: A site visit was not scheduled

Question #7: Does the contractor leave the containerized hazardous waste at the range?

Answer: Containerized waste will be coordinated through base environmental flight

Question # 8: What is the latitude and longitude of the range?

Answer: Cannot be provided due to security reasons.

Question #9: Is any maintenance or repairs required to the bullet trap system?

Answer: The bullet trap system and all range systems are not a part of this solicitation.

Question #10: When the range was last cleaned and maintained?

Answer: 4th Quarter of 2016.

Question #11: What is the part # of the HEPA Filters?

Answer: Part # has been requested. (See PWS Section 2.2.7 for the dimensions of the filter)

Question #12: Can we get drawings of the range?

Answer: Cannot be provided due to security reasons.
