Bid Specifications Volume 1 of 2 dated July 2023 do not match the Table of Contents. More specifically they are not in the correct order. Will a corrected one be issued, or do we need to put this Volume in the correct order ourselves?

If requested, a "For Construction" volume 1 will be issued to after award.

Could you give me the place of performance for this project, please?

An organized site visit was conducted on 02 November 23 at 1:30 PM CST.

In Section L.3.1.6-Submission of Bid Guarantee – We respectfully request that the Government waive the requirement of Attachment 7-Bond Checklist as part of the price proposal.

G-002 Building Summary Note 8 States that “assessment of mold damage provided”. Please confirm this assessment is located on Sheet A-702 Room Scope Matrix or if not please indicate where this assessment is located in the RFP documents or provide.

A-702 is the correct matrix for project F642

Based on limited amounts of mold needing to be thoroughly cleaned as indicated on Sheet A-702 Room Scope Matrix, Contractor assumes that Specification 02 85 00 requirements for 1.2.7.1 Source Containment, 1.2.7.2 Limited Containment, 1.2.7.3 Full Containment, 1.2.7.4 Unoccupied Building Containment, 1.2.7.5 Cleaning Containment, and 1.2.8 Decontamination Unit (Airlock) will not be required for the removal of the Ceiling and Wall Sheetrock as shown in Sheet AD102 DemoliŸon Keynotes 3 and 17. Please confirm.

Matrix is only a visual representation of exterior wall and ceiling surfaces. Contractor to determine which paragraph of specifications is appropriate for mold remediation based on level of contamination. Not all remediation specification sections may be necessary during remediation. All wall and ceiling surfaces indicated on sheet AD102 are to be removed regardless of level of contamination.

G-002 General Note 1 Stats “ALL MOLD REMEDIATION MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE SEE MICROBIAL ASSESSMENT FOR FULL MOLD ASSESSMENT AS WELL AS

SPECIFICATION SECTION 02 85 00.”

Please indicate where the microbial assessment for full mold assessment is located in the RFP documents or please provide.

"See attached Assessment Reports"

No floorwork is expected from the Scope Matrix. See AD102 Demolition Keynote 2 and Sheet A-403 where flooring will be replaced for the ADA rooms. Luxury vinyl flooring to be matched and approved by Construction Management. Contractor must protect existing flooring during project.

Will the Government remove and store all furnishings and appliances prior to construction, or will contractor be required to remove, store and reinstall these items? If contractors are responsible for removing, will the Government provide storage space for these items, or should contractor include costs for storage containers?

The Government will remove and store all furnishings and appliances. This will be performed before the construction period of performance.

Since access to the Living Units was very limited during the site visit should contractor assume that all bathroom framing for the walls are square and plumb so that no modification to the existing wall framing will be required to install the new shower inserts? If not please provide directions on how to price modification to the existing bathroom walls as preparing to install the shower inserts.

Installing new shower inserts into an existing bathroom will require shimming and modification of the surrounding walls for proper fit and finish. Determining the methods and its resulting price modifications is the responsibility of the Contractor and their Subcontractors.

Will the Government allow the Superintendent, with all required safety training and certificates, to also serve as the SSHO?

Yes.
