Q1: Will construction be phased, or will the entirety of the hanger be vacated during construction?

A1: The Project will have to be phased.

Q2: Is there a current load analysis on the existing utility transformer? Please see attachments A2: We do not have a load analysis, but please see attached transformer nameplate and meter data.

Q3: If the building is to be occupied during construction and the transformer and building service needs to be replace what is an acceptable down time?

A3: Outages will need to be coordinated, longer outages could be worked over the weekend/holidays and family days.

Q4: In lieu of the MG sets can a solid-state PUC be used for power generation?

A4: Solid state PUC maybe an approved acceptable alternative, it will still need to go through the submittal process the same as the MG set.

Q5: If MG sets are desired, does automatic breaker control need to be implemented to ensure 400Hz prior to breaker closure?

A5:Yes.

Q6: For the 400Hz receptacle does the form factor need to accept the standard 6 pole 115/200VAC 400Hz Aircraft Cable or is there another preferred?

A6: Support standard aircraft power, common 6 pin same as the T-38.

Q7: It is not explicitly listed but would the 270VDC option need to be considered for the Joint Strike Fighter?

A7:No.

Q8: On the 28VDC supply, is this for start service and would need be a 300Amp supply? MS3506 style receptacle or is another preferred?

A8: After following up with AETC the 28VDC supply is not required, this was a copy paste error from Boeing.

Q9: Will there be any NVIS requirements imposed on the hangar light fixtures?

A9: No.

Q10: Can a bid extension of 4 days be allowed?

A10: Bid has been extended to September 5, 2024.
